Nick Hurd was a Member of Parliament for 14 years. As Minister for Civil Society (2010-14) Nick led the government’s work with partners to build out the UK social impact investment market. This included the creation of Better Society Capital. He has chaired Access since 2020. Among other impact roles, he also chairs GSG Impact, which is working to mobilise impact investment in 47 countries around the world.
