Whitni Thomas

Whitni is head of corporate finance at the social bank Triodos Bank. The corporate finance team helps purpose driven organisations to access the capital they need to grow their impact. She has worked on a broad range of capital raising and advisory mandates for charities, social enterprises and impact businesses. 

Whitni joined Triodos Bank in 2006 and first worked in the venture capital team making equity investments in ethical businesses and helping to grow the bank’s presence in the social investment market.

Whitni started her career at JP Morgan where she worked for six years structuring debt for leveraged buy-outs, before heading up the access to finance team at the think tank New Economics Foundation.

Whitni is a school governor and has previously been a trustee of the Friends Provident Foundation, on the social investment board of the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and on the advisory board to the CEO of Better Society Capital.
