Hannah Ratcliffe has over 12 years’ experience in investment, blended finance and grant management across sub-Saharan Africa and the UK. She leads value creation at AgDevCo, a specialist investor in African agriculture, providing financial oversight across the portfolio and serving on both the Executive Committee and the AgDevCo Ventures Investment Committee.
Hannah led the development of AgDevCo Ventures, a $50m blended finance vehicle supporting early-stage agricultural enterprises in East Africa. She previously established and managed AgDevCo’s Technical Assistance Facility and has extensive experience designing and delivering grant-funded programmes, structuring blended finance solutions, and supporting investees to strengthen operational and financial performance.
She is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and has also served as a trustee and treasurer for two UK charities.
