The Impact Management Programme ran from 2016 to 2019 and offered support for charities and social enterprises seeking to grow their ability to quantify, report on, increase and ‘get paid for’ their impact. Delivered on our behalf by a partnership led by New Philanthropy Capital, it was co-designed by the sector to ensure it was user-friendly and reflected organisations’ needs. The programme provided tools, resources, events and disbursed a total of £1.8m in grants to charities, social enterprises and community businesses who were seeking investment or contract opportunities and looking for support with impact management.

Access is also a partner in a successor programme run by New Philanthropy Capital and funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. Details of that programme can be found by visiting inspiringimpact.org.

We have written an Interim Learning Report with key information and learnings from the programme and in December 2021 we published a final evaluation

With Inspiring Impact closed, NPC commissioned an external evaluation which was undertaken in 2021. The findings of this evaluation are presented in this executive summary and in the full report.
