Access has appointed Sue Cooper to join the board of the Foundation. Sue will serve for an initial term of three years.
Sue brings significant experience of supporting charities and social enterprises to access social investment. Her career has included 18 years working with charities and social enterprises for Triodos Bank UK and a role as CEO in a similar regulated finance organisation in New Zealand. Sue has also set up a social investment programme for an endowed charitable foundation in the UK, and now works as a consultant and non-executive director.
John Kingston, chair of Access, said: “I and my fellow trustees are delighted to welcome Sue onto the Access board. She will bring great experience and a hugely valuable perspective to our work in making social investment more relevant to charities and social enterprises.”
