Roshana Arasaratnam

Roshana is Sustainable Finance Director at UK Government Investments with over 25 years’ experience mobilising capital for impact across public, private and not-for-profit sectors. She also sits on the Climate Change Committee’s Audit and Risk Committee and tutors Sustainable Finance at the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership.

Previously, she was Associate Managing Director at Moody’s Investor Services, where she built Moody’s Public Sector Europe team and chaired global credit committees for sub-sovereign entities. She has also held senior roles at HM Treasury, PwC, Hackney Council and Lambeth Council, and served as Treasurer of the Hansard Society and Womankind Worldwide.

A Chartered Accountant, Roshana holds degrees from Cambridge, Warwick and Harvard’s Kennedy School, and sits on the ICAEW Sustainability Committee. She sings with the London Docklands Singers, plays piano and occasionally competes in aquathlons.
